Limited time

And a very primitive keyboard here at DisneyQuest means that this will be very brief. I’m keeping very limited tabs on the news from home, but I understand that the worst of what transpired has not been made public yet. Expect that to change in the near future.
Suffice it to say that once again, Ottawa has not disappointed in its capacity to never miss an opportunity to miss an oopportunity. Two empty stadiums in 08 AND a lawsuit. BRILLIANT.

Everyone!!! It appears official - look at the Can-Am webpage and the announcement dated today, October 30, 2007 - 8 teams for the 2008 season and Ottawa is not in the mix.
My wife and I so want to move out of this sad excuse for a city!!!

Wayne, my condolences. You can still get your baseball fix with a
short drive down I-81 to Syracuse. They’re installing a grass surface as I
write, so the park will be a tremendous improvement over past years.
There’s a nice Hampton Inn at the I-81 exit at Seventh North Street,
less than two miles from the stadium. My wife and I have stayed there
and we recommend it.
As I’ve said before, my heart goes out to the baseball fans in Ottawa.
Yours is a beautiful city, and the Lynx had a very nice venue in
which to play. It is a shame the powers that be have dropped the ball as
they have.
